Brandon Cook

Brandon Cook is a registered patent attorney who assists clients in all aspects of intellectual property law. Brandon’s clients include individuals, educational institutions, non-profit corporations, small businesses, and large corporations. Brandon is a seasoned litigator with experience representing both plaintiffs and defendants in patent infringement, trademark infringement, and copyright infringement matters. Brandon has experience handling a variety of other cases, including fraud, trade secret misappropriation, deceptive trade practices, defamation, and breach of contract. Brandon also represents clients in administrative proceedings before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board and the Patent Trial and Appeal Board. Brandon provides clients with shrewd, candid, and easy-to-understand advice focused on obtaining favorable results in the most efficient way possible.

In addition to litigation, Brandon prepares and prosecutes patent applications, trademark applications, and copyright applications on behalf of clients. Brandon’s patent prosecution practice spans all industries with an emphasis on oil and gas, chemical, and automotive inventions. Brandon also maintains intellectual property portfolios and handles intellectual property transactional matters.

In 2025, Brandon was elected a Fellow of the San Antonio Bar Foundation in recognition of his contributions to the San Antonio legal community. Brandon is a longtime board member and former president of the San Antonio Chapter of the Federal Bar Association.
